Good Day Everyone!

Select Financial Group is live at the Second Annual American National Palmer Home Golf Classic.

We are thankful for the beautiful, crisp weather on this sunny day at the serene east course of Windyke Country Club. As you may know, last year's tournament suffered greatly because of rainy, frigid weather.

This morning, Sheldon the Mississippi Riverkings Mascot stopped by for a little clowning around during registration (priceless pictures to follow soon).

During registration, the guests raffle tickets went like hotcakes. Everyone was dying to get the gorgeous Mednikow Men's Watch on their hands! It was graciously provided by Mednikow, our Grand Raffle Prize.

Our golfers started their carts and headed to their starting holes after Pastor Ernie Frey from Central Church gave a warm and welcoming convocation.

Our lunch of burgers, hot dogs, beans, slaw, potato salad and cookies proved to satisfy the hungriest players appetites. Thanks to Knox and his crew at Windyke Country Club.

The Executive Director of Palmer Home for Children is on hand to educate golfers about their organization and to watch the support pour in.

Thus far, 3 players have sunk the putting contest leading to what promises to be a millimeter close contest.

Later this evening, Phil Cannon, director of the Annual St. Jude Golf Classic, will let us in on the latest details of the most anticipated Golf Classic in Memphis!

The 2nd Annual American National Palmer Home Golf Classic is scheduled for October 28th, 2010, at Windyke Country Club in Memphis, TN, with a 12:30pm start time.

Look forward to golfing with local celebrity teams, indulging your taste buds, and helping Palmer Home for Children give the gift of hope.

Awards will be presented for Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin (all par 3's), and Straightest Drive.

A combination package of 2 Mulligans, 1 Raffle Ticket, and admission to the Putting Contest will be available as well!

The tournament will vary slightly in the Scramble format by having the teams participate in a Reverse Scramble for the middle 6 holes.

2010 American National Palmer Home Golf Classic

American National Insurance is thrilled to announce the Second Annual American National Palmer Home Golf Classic! The 4-man team scramble-style golf tournament will take place on October 28th, 2010, at Windyke Country Club with a 12:30pm start time.

As insurance professionals, we spend our entire careers assisting others in preparing for life's uncertainties. Again this year, we are extending our efforts to help the children of Palmer Home, a stable, loving long-term home for children who lack an adequate family structure. Palmer Home for Children provides nurture and support for children in order to give each child the full opportunity to reach his or her God-given potential.

We are hoping to make this year's fundraiser bigger and better. With your sponsorship or donation, our tournament can be a great success for the children. Below is a brief overview of the sponsorship opportunities available:

1. Gold Sponsorship: $1200 - includes 1 team of 4 players, 4 tournament polo shirts, 1 hole sponsorship with signage, 4 raffle tickets, luncheon for team, and awards ceremony
2. Silver Sponsorship: $1000 - includes 1 team of 4 players, 1 hole sponsorship with signage, 4 raffle tickets, luncheon for team, and awards ceremony
